A UK-based Vodafone user on the company’s official support forum was told he could upgrade his contract phone to a Nexus One on February 3rd – which could, JUST COULD, be accidental official confirmation of a UK arrival date for a contract-based Nexus on Vodafone.
Here’s the quote. Never mind the poor grammar, just read the bit in bold:
“I was speaking to vodafone sales team earlier today RE: an upgrade… the sales advisor comfirmed for me my upgrade date is Jan 21st and I was able to get the nexus one on the 3rd of Feb.”
Feb 3? Really? Take this with a pinch of salt, as if we had a pound for every time we’ve been told something COMPLETEY FALSE by a call centre operative we’d be extremely wealthy people, and certainly wouldn’t be spending this much time on the internet reading about Android developments.
But still. Feb 3 is quite close. Here’s hoping.
