If you want to see what Samsung’s newer, smaller Galaxy Android phone is like, you may do so now – by entering into a BIDDING WAR on eBay, then hoping it doesn’t get stolen by the postman.
A bloke in Ireland is flogging off an apparently new & sealed Galaxy Spica, previously known on the internet as the Samsung Galaxy i5700, which he claims is also unlocked to run on any network. If you fancy a game of SIM-card roulette, feel free to enter your legally-binding bid.

We’re interested in the Galaxy Spica, as despite supposedly being a “cheaper” version of the Samsung Galaxy i7500, it looks like being quite a bit better – thanks to packing in a faster 800MHz processor and, hopefully, fixing some of the bugs and terrible battery life issues that spoiled the otherwise sound i7500.
The Spica’s already out in parts of mainland Europe, but none of the UK mobile networks are offering it on contracts as of yet. We suppose that’s a bad sign, but are prepared to turn a blind eye as it looks quite nice.
