Yet another mildly schizophrenic Twitter App – Twigee seems to have a history of calling itself TwitWalk, but has presumably ditched that name in favour of the less Twitter-offending Twigee.
We’ll have a good old brainstorming session tonight, and see if we can think up any better client names for all these struggling Twitter developers.
Twigee is the business. Totally free and offering support for multiple accounts right from the outset, it’s the most feature-packed freebie this side of Twidroid. It lets you access the Trends list, do Searches, select your favourite URL-shortening service, edit the colour scheme and fonts, and select how many Tweets you want popping up on the timeline if you want to speed up the loading process – it’s all-round impressive.
It does seem to take a while to update the Tweet timeline, though, often leaving you staring at a blank white screen stuck on “99%” and wondering if the thing has crashed – so a little animating something or other to tell us everything’s OK would be handy.
Apart from that we have no petty whinges. Twigee’s ace. Its reward is to stay on the EuroDroid SD Card.
