T-Mobile gets in on the App scene – releases ShareAnywhere business file-sharing tool

Here’s the sort of terrible idea we’d hoped might’ve died out thanks to Android’s open OS – T-Mobile’s own ShareAnywhere system. You may “Use it to automatically compress image files into a Brochure-like slideshow, complete with your company branding” – which is vastly harder and more complex than simply… sharing the files.

The shared files are complied into “Brochures” which T-Mobile Android users can share via ID codes. Sounds hard and awkward, looks dull, corporate and miserable. Makes PDFs look exciting. We’re not on T-Mobile so shouldn’t really be dismissing it so casually and thoroughly, but… just look at it.

It’s like the internet in the year 2000 when everything was more complex than it had to be for the sake of show. Simple is the way forward, T-Mobile. Quick & simple. Not cumbersome propietary viewing formats.
